Homegrown Garden Herbs this Spring 2023

Updated: Apr 11, 2023

What’s growing in the garden this spring for Garden Root Remedy? As many of you may know, our business is located in the Greater Phoenix area of Arizona. This means we can successfully garden 365 days per year! You would be surprised to find out what we can grow, even in the sweltering triple digits.

Every 3-4 months in Arizona, I am blessed with the opportunity to grow year round. Over the past four months I have directed my energy and space in my garden to herbal medicine plants that can be used for Garden Root Remedy. I still have plenty of room in my garden for my top vegetables such as peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, greens, lettuce, beans, peas, artichoke, etc...but herbs have now taken over!!

The list is long but rewarding. I have been harvesting some of the herbs this past couple of months to use for future tinctures.
